Yorkshire Men's Double Rink Champions!
For the first time in Harrogate Indoor Bowls Club history, the HIBC Men have won the Yorkshire County Double Rinks competition. HIBC Men had to play a game against York in order to qualify for the round robin – in which we narrowly beat York by 1 shot. Then on the 30th of March – HIBC Men played at York and played for over 5 and a half hours. In the first game, they drew with Selby to get 3 out of a possible 6 points. We then beat Hornsea 6-0 to get to a total 9 points putting them 1 point ahead of their next opponents… New Earswick. In which they won 4 out of 6 points in order to lift the trophy.
